So who are you?

Am I a feminist? Can I be one?

Of course you can. Chances are that you already are a feminist: you believe women are equal, right? We only sell to feminists, so you should buy something to confirm that you are one ;)

Where are your products made?

All of our products are printed exclusively for us by our quality supplier in either Europe or the USA (depending on where you are). They source their items from reputable manufacturers in a range of countries. You won't find our products for sale anywhere else. 

Designed in the UK & Bali, printed in the USA & Europe.

What's your charitable/ethical/environmental policy? How are your clothes made?

We hate plastic waste just as much as you do (seriously - we're keen scuba divers and it upsets us so much to see plastic in the ocean. We always surface with pockets full of trash).

We try to do our best to minimise waste and packaging and source eco-friendly packaging materials. Wherever possible, these are recyclable or biodegradable. We also work closely with our manufacturers to see where improvements can be made. 

Our inks are water based and eco-friendly and our apparel is created with the latest in garment printing technology. Specifically, we use genuine Brother GT-3 pigment inks. GT-3 inks are CPSIA compliant and Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on youth/children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. GT-3 inks also provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4. They feel much softer than traditional screen printed shirts but are just as durable. 

We also believe we cannot be a truly feminist organisation without being ethical. We support and donate 10% of our profits to women's charities - see our About page for details - and have also co-designed a range of charity She-Shirts with Woman's Trust. 50% of profits from sales of those t-shirts goes straight towards helping their valuable work. We look into the manufacturing processes of our suppliers, we support fair and ethical working conditions, and as far as we are informed all of the products that we offer are fair trade and ethically produced. 

I can't see dress sizes. Help!

That's not a question, but we'll indulge you. 

Every clothing item features measurements in metric and imperial, and we're looking to add approximate dress sizes in future. If you're not sure, get in touch and we'll try to help.

DELIVERY

Is shipping really free?

It certainly is. The price you see is the price you pay. You should never have any issues with custom/import duties but if you do please let us know straightaway so we can help.

May 2018 worldwide shipping update: in addition to free shipping on all orders to the USA/UK/Europe (which we've always done), we now offer free delivery on all orders worldwide. We hope we can reach more women in even more countries this way. 

How long does shipping take?

We find that nearly all items arrive with our USA/EU/UK customers within one week of ordering. However, the shipping estimate provided by our supplier is 5-17 business days.

Please note that your products are made to order and we want to ensure that the quality is just right, so the times above are estimates. If you need items quickly or by a particular date (a birthday or Christmas gift, for example), please get in touch with us before ordering and we will see what we can do to ship your items more quickly.

Delivery may take slightly longer outside of the UK, Europe and the USA. For example, most items arrive with our Australian customers within 14-16 days of ordering, but it could take a bit longer. Delivery may also take slightly longer to Europe on certain items that are only fulfilled in the USA, such as some of our children's mini she-shirts. We have made clear where this applies on the relevant product pages. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions.

Please note that we occasionally have to ship products from our USA fulfilment centre to customers in Europe (or vice versa) depending on local stock levels. This is very rare and, where possible, we will expedite the shipping (at no extra cost to you) to try to ensure you get your order with minimal delay.

RETURNS POLICY

Item(s) are missing, faulty or weren't delivered. Item(s) don't fit or I've changed my mind. Can I get a refund or exchange?

We want you to love your She-Shirt items. If you're not happy with your order, please let us know so we can put it right. Please get in touch as soon as possible (please note we have a 14 day return policy) and we will provide return authorisation details and mailing instructions. Any items being returned must be in brand new, unworn and unwashed condition.

Any returns or problems that occur because of an error on our part will be handled at our expense.

In cases where you would like to exchange or return a product without any defect or due to a wrong size being ordered, we're unable to guarantee it at this stage but we want to be awesome and will do our best to refund or exchange your item. Please just let us know and we'll do our best to help. We want you to be happy.

Can I get a discount?

Yes! If you post a photo of yourself wearing/using our products on Instagram, be sure to tag us (@thesheshirtshop and #thesheshirtshop) and we'll provide a 15% discount off your next order.

Please note that only one discount code can be used on any order and we reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if we feel discount codes have been misused.

How can I see my home currency?

Our store used Pounds Sterling (GBP) as the default currency, but it's easy to change this to US/Canadian/Australian Dollars, Euros or South African Rand. Simply click the arrow next to 'GBP' at the top right of a page on desktop, or on mobile click the header menu (three horizontal lines) before doing the same. You can convert prices to other currencies easily using XE's free tool (opens in a new window).

My order won't go through. Help!

1. Ensure that the billing address you entered matches that of your credit card.

2. Still not working? Try selecting PayPal as a payment method during checkout.

3. If you're still having trouble, please get in touch and we'll help.

And now for the boring part...

What's your VAT and tax policy?

Wow, you're still reading? Where you've requested delivery to an EU address, the price paid for the product and the delivery service will usually include VAT at the same rate we pay it to our EU supplier. This is reflected in our website price.

Where you've ordered products for delivery to a non-EU address, both the products and the delivery service will normally be zero-rated, with no EU/UK VAT chargeable on either. However, the price paid by you for the products and delivery services will remain the same as shown on the website and at checkout. This means that the total price you pay us for products should always be the same, regardless of whether or not VAT is chargeable on the sale. 

As we expand and grow our business in more and more countries, we will look to tailor our tax position to reflect individual countries' rates. In the meantime, if you are outside of the EU and place an order for over £150 we will, on request, issue a refund to you of the VAT component (less any excess of the shipping cost). We think this is a fair approach but please get in touch if you have any questions.
